This track pulls from a lot of the early leaders of the garage rock revival in the early 00's but also has a sci-fi and funk element to it. The vocals were inspired by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and Jim Morrison of The Doors.

Lyrics

Verse 1:
Find myself just sitting around find myself alone in this town she ran around and I never knew why to hell I'm bound but it was a nice try things so small like bets at a track feel the wall against my back this life is hard am I destined to fail I've come so far now I've gotta set sail

Chorus: You don't own me you don't own me no you don't you don't own me never won't you won't hold me you don't know me no you don't you can hold me never won't

Verse 2: So they're gone they've all run away so they're gone its better for change I sit alone and I wanna just cry I'm on my own may be better to die endless thoughts of how I can win bend the shots all over again the Casimir effect in my life nothing is clear except all this strife

Chorus: you don't own me you don't own me no you don't you can hold me never no you won't own me you don't own me no you don't you can own me never no
